I was curious to know as to who have spent over 5 grand on their car... And if so, what was the result?? Also, if youre able to post pitures, please do so!! I want to know what can be done to a car with this amount of money on aftermarkets...

its way to easy to blow 5K on your car.....I could have easily spend 5K on mine but dont wanna think about it....see below

 

I have, well close enough. I will in the next month for sure. My car has come a long way, so im pretty satisfied with it.

 

13,000 (parts + paint) - not including labour + 9,000 (for the car), I had all my recipts out the other night tallying it up..

my friend just dumped ~3500 into his STI and it feels worlds faster. We're going to carlsbad in the next 2 weeks or so..

bastards at autobacs took out his wastegate and put the bov in it's place..

 

You cant really tell cuz it kinda look stock... But its still a pretty dammm clean car... But hey, its whats under the hood that counts right??

I have put a total of 16,000 in mine paint, parts, tunning, ect. NO INTALLATIONS that was all done by myself.

 

spent over 1k this last week on parts and still not done.

 

5k is noting. A wicked suspension setup will be around 2.5-3k

I only spent $1500.00 on my suspension since August

 

Over 5k in mods, can you see it?

WTF? thats like not even possible, STi's have an internal wastegate controlled by an actuator, there is absolutley no way anyone could retrofit a BOV in its place

my motor alone was 5K
my paint job alone was 5K

theres a lot of "5k" into my car

 

I spent more than $5k on my accord in mods. When I was fighting with insurance I gave the adjuster a folder with like $8000 in reciepts. What do I have to show for it? Nothing really, car is still slow. That is why I bought another project.

 

motor work alone ran to 5k. and im not even turbo yet

 

I know it doesnt campare to some of you but I am well over $4000 and it still looks stock! LOL I guess you could say mine was all "go" and no "show".
