can you polish HX rims?

Default can you polish HX rims?

I just got a set of 96 HX rims that are mint... I wanna know if they are polishable they seem like they have a coat of clear on them or something... please give me you imput! TIA fellas.

They do have a finish on them, but there is a member on here with a polished set. Don't remember his username though.

Yeah I have a polished lip on my gunmetal ones and I like it. And all of us from NC are stunnas.

Use zip stripe. Its in a yellow and black can at basically any hardware store. Brush or pour it on and 10 minutes later the paint will just bubble up and come off. I had to use it on my dirtbike swingarm because i bling blind'd it y0!

heres what i did a couple hrs ago(need to get teh overspray off, otherwise looks good) duplicolor anodized blue over polished hx spokes, with the lip left polished

aircraft remover, spray them, takes the silver paint and primer off them, leaving bare aluminum. mothers polish works to get them bling bling. It takes about 3-4hrs total to do everything, but they look nice when done

slow ek has them all he did was use the aircraft paint stripper I think. The wheels look good without the clear coat on them.
