The lights for my heat have gone out except for the buttons. Like where the fan speed is and the heat amount. My question is, do I have to go to a dealership for these bulbs or can I get them anywhere. I don't want to take out my center console to find I have to go to the dealership. This is for an EK4, 1996, whatever you want to call it.

 

do a search on climate control bulbs, i know i have seen that answer many many times, just cant remember how to fix off hand

 

Just pop the climate control thing out. There are 2 small bulbs in there, but I can't remember what size they are. You can replace them youself.

You can get them anywhere. They're the same size as the smaller bulbs in the back of the guage cluster. I had to replace one with an old bulb from my old DX cluster I had lying around.

 

they're actually two small bulbs. the number is 74. readily availible at any auto parts store. just took mine out the other day. 96 ex
