Default Heater Core = own3d...(pics)

Never again....never, never again. If anything could be more time consuming or gay, I would sure like to know it. Just pure pain in the *** is all this task is good for...especially when you find out that your core was fine the whole time, it was just the lines going into the core that were bent to hell and back causing it to leak. You will see in the pics, links below. Oh, and I realize my "bird" pics my hand looks deformed, I had surgery about 1 month ago, so thats why my hand is so odd looking .

yeah... heater core's SUCK...

I know 2 mechanic's who gave their cars away when the heater core started leaking on them... they just didn't want to deal with it.

They got bent when my buddy and I were putting in my motor about 3months ago. We were going to pull off those old lines that went from the motor to the firewall and just put the new ones on that came with the new motor. Well, they were on there so tight...no matter how hard we yanked, we couldn't get them off. Apparently during all the prying and yanking, we ben them up pretty good, as you can see in the pic. It makes sense, as my car never leaked coolant inside the car until after the motor swap. Soooo, to me

wow that looks like fun . i'm down. how long did it take? i bet it was great keeping all those 10 million fasteners straight. ziploc baggies and masking tape and a digicam would be absolutely essential for this job.
