Default info on installing a h22 engine

i have a 1st gen crx(86) stop at my house and i just buy a h22 engine , i'm only using this car on the track , and i want to fly on the 1/4 mile race , but i want to do it with an all motor car , no turbo - no nitrous .

so , i want to how i can install this engine on my car , what changes i have to do , and what i need .

i now it can be done , because i so one on florida ,and in my country there's three cars with this engine.

i need this info because i want to do great times and i have the engine .

get the Prelude that the H22 came from and weld the crx to the front of the lude. their you go....any better ideas???

why nto email L'natural motorsports and ask them what exactly that swap intails. loofsky's car runs the H22.

your going to have to make your own mounts and do some cutting/welding. You can forget about the alternator much less the powersteering. The motor sits about 2" from the radiator. The guy that did it said he wished he never messed with it. have fun

Might try looking up a H-T member named Import Review, He seems to like the H-22, and I believe he used to work for Atomic motorsports????

I'm not sure, he used to post on Honda-Tech a lot.
Ask around in some of the other forums,....maybe Prelude( if I had to guess ), and see if he still post here, or if they know how to contact him

because of the rearity of this swap i would go to the hybrid site and maybe get the wiring down, other than that your pretty much onyour own.

that sounds hard to fit..
what about jdm b20a5?
that might fit in there more easily since the zc was fit from the factory..these motors share similar dimensions and a few parts..
everything would have to be totaly custom fab'd with either motor.
i say either sell the crx and put the h22 in another car or sell the h22 and get a d16a1 and spend the money on beefing that up.

it 's a hard swap to do , but i'm trying to get recommendation about where i can get the mount kits for this swap and a axles that can support the power of this engine.
