need roll bar/cage help.
ok I got a nice 6 point bar/cage for xmas and tryed to weld it in myself..well needless to say it came out bad..real bad..I need some info on how I could go about fixing nasty welds to make them look clean.I was told I could use a gas torch and heat them up and melt them in place to look good and I was also told to just cut it out.grind everything down and reweld it back in.I really dont want to have to take it out and grind it down so I was wondering what you guys recommend..I also have a buddy with a tig that said he could make it nice but that a torch would do about the same thing..please give any info that you can..Thanks.
remember, griding of the welds is illegal in all the sanctioning bodies rule books. so make damn sure no grind marks show through the new quality welds.

Right, the new welds must cover up the old ground down welds and marks completly.
