Default spoon prepped rod vs stock r rods?

Im about to buy some r rods for my gsr, and I was wondering if the spoon "balanced and repackaged" rods were worth getting over the stock r rods?
JHP wants $375 for stock, and 390 for the spoon ones. Is it worth the little extra? I know it isn't much of a price difference, but im on a hella tight budget.
thanks

the spoon stuff I have seen, wasnt balanced that well.
More repackaging than balancing i would suspect.
With either set i would have them balanced.

You are better off buying ITR rod bolts, and spending your money to balance
your GSR rods instead.

Im getting arp rod bolts so the itr rod bolts are useless, but wouldn't it be worth the money to get rods while im rebuilding my block? Plus having a lighter stronger rod would be another advantage. Right?

thanks

"Absolutely"

Probe light weight all motor rods with 9mm ARP rod bolts only run around $300 or so. Just something to look into.

What kind are "all motor" rods? I want something that is lighter than stock gsr rods, but is stronger as well. Most of the aftermarket rods are too beefy for my setup, yeah they are stronger but aren't the itr rods stronger too? Keep in mind that I don't reeally plan on eever going over 200 whp with this car so that's why I would think I would be best off geetting itr rods over aftermarket.
Input?
thanks.

I just did a rod weight post and it seems the probes are lighter than the stock rods. They are good for 350whp so they say and have the slightly larger rod bolts compared to Eagles.
