Hesitation/fluttering after walbro 255 install.
Hey guys, I went ahead and installed my walbro 255 intank pump, aem fpr and fuel gauge before putting the turbo setup on. I'm experiencing some bogging/hesitation. almost a slight flutter. I changed the fpr return fitting from the medium to the biggest and it helped a little bit, but it's still there. I've also played with the fuel pressure. Right now it's at around 34psi as per the helms manual(31-38psi).
At full throttle it's fine, but part throttle there is lag.. Hard to explain. Has anybody else experienced this? I'm assuming when I put the bigger injectors and it's tuned it will be fine. Thanks.

I changed it right before I dropped the motor in. Around 500 miles ago..

did you have a fuel gauge installed before the fuel pump installation? my GSR was around ~42psi with a stock fuel system and ~50psi after a Walbro fuel pump install. Try turning up the fuel a little bit.
I have problems with running too rich sometimes with my walbro intank and inline. Going down the hwy it will start to studder with getting flooded with fuel. I can blip the throttle a few times and it goes away but I believe it just needs to be tuned and back the fuel off a bit.
I had a walbro fuel pump acting like that, shortly after my car died and wouldnt start back up. Put in stock fuel pump ran fine, walbro pump was faulty, it works in 30 minute bursts then shuts off completley, could just be another faulty walbro.
Muckman, you were right. I decided to crank the fuel pressure up when I was working on my car this morning. I turned it up to ~38-39 psi. All the bogging/hesitation is gone! Last time I didn't raise it past 35psi. Hopefully it wasn't running too lean.
