Default AEM Bypass Valve

I Just Bought A AEM Bypass Valve For My CAI And The Instructions say something about Cutting Inlet Pipe? What Is That All About?

You have to cut your intake in half and put the bypass valve in there.

you have to cut your intake in half and then insert the bypass. I wouldnt do it. i thought those things has a recall.

I can see you guys havent gotten started yet. I had one when I had the ITR intake on my car. Worked fine, but as far as power gains, a short ram does just as good a job.

Yep. Just cut the end of the intake you have off and put the filter up in the engine bay. That way you're not out any money and you have a short ram for the rainy season.
