Default Cluster Problem (already searched)

I searched for this but couldnt find any help.

Tonight my cluster lights just stopped working. I saw another post sayign check the reverse lights fuse, well I checked every fuse and none were blown. It worked earlier tonight, turned my lights on tonight and nothing. All the gauges are functional, but no lights. Now if i turn on my bright lights, the little blue indicator light comes on. Any ideas on if there is another fuse hidden, or someone who had this same problem? Thanks.

Mike

Thats what im saying. Yes ive pulled every fuse (not a noob lol) but im asking if there is one on the backside of the cluster or something. If i dont come up with anything i'll throw the old dx one back in for a bit to test.

You probobaly forgot to plug in something. Cluster lights dont 'stop working' unless it was due to human error.

no fuses on the back of the cluster, just a whole lotta small bulbs. do your turn signals and everything work?

well, the information was there you just didnt ready the threads,,, if your talking about the 92-95 gauge cluster your gauge dimmer switch wires are on the 12pin gauge clip (or the one on the left side if facing the front of the cluster)and the wires will be the red and the red/black wires. so either do a voltage check on those two wires to find out whether your getting power.

hope that helps.. youcan also get the helms manual in my sig...... pass this on to others, not enough are downloading it..

Thats not quite what I meant, when I installed my EX cluster, I noticed the front gauge lights werent working, so I took it back out, and alas I forgot to plug the bulb harness back in after I changed the mileage. Small things like this are frequently overlooked. Just rip the cluster back out and double check all the bulbs.
