Spent the weekend visiting my friend in houston. She has a 97 civic, bone stock with intake and a cheap CD plyr. 2 nights ago, it was stolen and recovered in the morning. They took some textbooks the INTAKE..
and the CD plyr and damaged the whole panel where the CD plyr was and the steering column. To top it off, they were smoking in the ******* car and put out a cigarette on the door panel. All this.. on a stock 97 civic.
What is really funny however is that they left a **** load of stuff in there.. including a wallet that has a SS card and DL. Can thieves get any stupider these days. It belonged toa 17 yr old girl, and on the wallet had few pics of her and his mexican bf. I keep on laughing everytime I think about it, about how much **** they are about to get into, all because they are so ******* retarded. Stealing a car and leaving your identity in there.
On a side note, the car was damaged, but I will probably end up making a lot of $$ from the insurance on it. I can't believe they took an intake... If they were gonna steal the car, at least do more damage to it. .jeez.

Damn Texas thieves. Yeah they aren't too bright. When they stole my car they kept using my cell phones. I even talked with them a few times. What idiots.

I agree. It's an old trick, leaving clues that lead to someone else, with an ID or thieves "tagging" the car with a rival gang or well known group to lead the police elsewhere.
Just curious, what did the boyfriends race have to do with it

Yea, same thing happened to a friend. They stole his 95 eclipse and when they found the car stripped to the bone, conveniently placed on the dash was a wallet. Funny thing was, the wallet of the guy they used had been in prison for a few weeks before the car was stolen. hahha

what part of that was not english to you?
here.. lemme rephrase.. "The wallet belonged to a 17 yr old girl, and on the wallet had a few pics of her and his mexican bf". Is that better??
Yes, the car is my friend's car, but I will be repairing it and making a little money of of it since she's letting me
I realize that the person that stole it might have left it to frame somebody else, but judging by the condition of the car, and how it was left, I highly doubt it. It wasn't left in an obvious place, it was left with all their other garbage of beer bottles and a bunch of newspaper. They stole the car for a joy ride, got drunk and accidentaly left the wallet in there. I mean.. who would want to frame a 17 yr old girl? Only explanation, it was the thieve's gf, which she left by accident. I wished I coulda seen her expressino when she woke up and said.. "O CIET.. WHERE'S MY WALLET!!!"

didnt' reallie mean n e thing wen i said he was mexican.. just that he was a skinny high school kid that looks like he would steal a car for fun. No, the 17yr white girl is not cute. I'd hit it though,(if she was older) but she's not cute. Damn.. shoulda took a picture of her wallet b4 giving it up. o well.
Hopefully is was their wallet... not a plant.
Yeah thieves suck, when I got robbed in Vegas on a Sema trip, I called and talked to one of the thugs on my own cell phone that he took... I just told him that the bill was due on the 17th and that autodialing #22 would prolly get him some poon.
