Default HELP!! Racing Harts Specialists

ok i bought my car with 17" Racing Hart Z5000's, and i got some slips (flame on) to replace them. however, upon trying to dismount the racing harts, i noticed that the stock wrench wouldn't take off the lug nuts because grooves on the rim kind of went over the lug nuts and i think only 17mm, opposed to 19mm stock, could fit into those grooves and over the lug nut... the guy who sold me the car told me that they were stock lug nuts, is this true? if so, how come the stock wrench can't take them out? thanks!!

i doubt they are stock lugs....

when i had the racing hart cp10's i had to get "tuner" style lugs that were smaller.

ok so if i got tuner lugs, am i going to need a key of some sort to take them off? and i'm assuming that these are tapered lugs so they can be used on the slips right? and if i do need a key to take them off, how can i figure out what brand they are to purchase a key? or simply, how the f*ck can i take them off?? 17's are wayyyyyy to big on a dc2...

...i should've known better than to buy my car from a 28 yr. old ricer who had an SI sticker on the back of the dc2..

oh yeah, thanks for all the help!

How about you take a picture of the center of the wheel so we can see what it looks like. Then we can tell you want to do about it. Does it look like a regular lugnut?
