I dont know what model AEM EMS to buy

Default I dont know what model AEM EMS to buy

my motor is a 99 b16.. beofre I bought it. it was in a 93 civic ex and ran on the stock 93 ex computer. does that mean its an odb1 harness?. what model ems do i need?

what engine hardness is in your car. You base the EMS on the engine harness.

If it is 0bd 1 then its the 30-1000 if it is obd IIA the 30-1020 if it s the obd IIB then 30-1010

It depends on the harness that connects into the stock computer. The AEM EMS is basically the same system for all cars with the exception of the harness connection.

If you have a 93 ex then you probably need the 30-1000 unit. Don't quote me on that though.

whatever harness it has it was connected to a 93 ex computer.. so with that info. tell me what model I need to get?

can someone confirm this please. Dont wanna spend that much for the wrong ems know what I mean?
