This isnt the largest forum obviously because not too many of us have pockets deep enough for an nsx, but many of us do have pockets deep enought to film them. I have never actually heard vtec in an nsx and wanted to know if any of you out there have a video with an nsx where you can hear the motor. Thank to all in advance and awesome to anyone to has it!!!!!! Everyone have a nice New Year's.

Wow those were a lot of fun to watch. VTEC engages at what seems like such a lower rpm then most the other VTEC engines. I dont know the specs of them that much. Was that like a NSX expo? They were everywhere? Oh that question is to ak who posted the video!! Thanks to all again.

I think the NSX Vtec engages(?) somewhere around 5800 rpm I think but it's not as drastic as the 4cyl hondas...the torque curve is very flat so it's harder to notice. The video was from a little meet we had in VA a while ago.

Correct. Mine engages at 5800, but as someone who also has a 4-cyl ('90 SI with a JDM B16), I don't understand your logic relating torque curves between the two and the ability to "feel" which one's more drastic than the other.
VTEC on the NSX is much more pronounced. Both motors have relatively flat torque curves, but the B16 has much less torque, so you feel the crossover less.
