Where in Illinois or Chicago can I go to get my 94-95 Accord 7 spokes Rims powder coated, and what kind of color can I powder coat them? New at this and please don't make fun.

CALL ANY AUTO RESTORATION SHOP.
They can tell you where to go for that & as for color, endless choices

 

you can buy some aftermarket wheels for damn near the same price.

 

i looked into it last year, it's about $250. you can get it in almost any color, the shop will have many color to choose from. the only problem is, if it's not instock you'll need to buy some. most likely for a gunmetal type color it won't be instock.

i decided not to do it, but if your wheels are scratched and look like **** then i would say do it.

to find shops i used the msn yellow pages and typed in powder coating and put in your state, then just start calling.

 

My landlord owns a metal shop and they do powder coating... he said with prep work done already (removing all grease, dipping in acid, taping, etc) it would still cost around $250-400 depending on the wheels. You'd be better off spraypainting them or buying new wheels

 

^dipping in acid?? just get them sandblasted, that's about $10-15 per wheel for these wheel, but wheels with more spokes cost more. that price is from the sandblaster him self, if the powder coating shop sends them out to a blaster they'll charge 20% on top of that price.
