I did a search and all I found was code 10 is for the intake air temperature sensor (IAT). Is the car safe to drive? Does this code hurt performance? Where is it and how do I replace this sensor? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this problem.

So do I replace a sensor or do I advance my timing or both? Wont running rich hurt my cat. or O2 sensor? Thanks
Oh absolutely replace the sensor. Just letting you know that runing like that for a little while is not the worst of things if you need the car.
Sensor is probably ~$50-60 if i remember correctly, I had to replace mine as it was melted cause the original owner's shop connected the purge selenoid plug to the sensor, killing it...

In the service manual, every code has not only a description, but also a diagnostic procedure for what to test and what to do next. You'll find it in the Fuel and Emissions section; look for the section on Self-Diagnostic Procedures (under the Troubleshooting heading). You need to go to the page number indicated next to the description of the code, where you will find the diagnostic procedure that tells what to check next and what to do.

Thanks for the info, but I don't have a service manual. Once I replace the sensor should my problem be solved or do I need to lean it out? Thanks Matt

Then you should get a service manual, so you know what you're doing, and make sure you're doing the right things in the right order to fix any problems you have, as well as do any scheduled maintenance. Not just for this job, but for any work you want to do on your car. The service manual is excellent, and it's essential for anyone who wants to work on his own car. It's worth every penny of the cost.

Almost all problems are connectivity issues. So it would be a good idea to unplug, inspect, and replug the connector on the IAT sensor first. Just doing that may clear your problem.
If it does not then, lacking a service manual for the absolutely correct troubleshooting actions, replace the sensor and hope for the best.
I don't where the best place for Honda parts is, but I had good luck with Handa-Accessories.com. They may sell sensors to.
