shaved doors
I am thinking about installing shaved door handles on my 4dr accord. Can anybody school me on what I need to know.
1. who makes to most reliable product?
2. should I get 35lb solenoids or should I get stronger ones (wear & tear reasons)?
3. door thrusters vs. door poppers?
any info regarding the kit itself and the body work would help.

you need to have a good understanding on 12- volt wiring, relays, and alarm systems. If you dont know anything about 12-volt, it is a little too involved to explain in a post.

1st of all you dont install shaved door handles. you simply shave them. with sheet metal usually around 18-20 gauge. second solenoids basically describe how much pressure you want the door to open with. thats a personal thing you must just choose it. and thrusters? just buy the poppers..and stick with AutoLoc with everything. PS have a reputeable body man do the work because import cars have weak metal and it warps easy. anymore questions...read my sig. i've already done it..

nah, wont be a show car. At least I dont think it will. You know how it is once you start..you just keep on going. What about remotes? Since I have a 4dr I assume I will have to buy 2 kits. Which will leave me with 2 remotes plus my alarm remote. Is there any way I can narrow down the amount of remotes?
