Default Idle Surge After ITR manifold

Sorry mods, but should have posted this in EG first, please delete my tech thread if you want.

Car: 94 civic ex, obd1 wired b16.
Event: Just put on ITR manifold.
What happened: Since the IAC valve from the b16 manifold would not fit on the type R manifold, i used an older one i had (which im not sure is good). Now everything seems fine, no codes at all, except the idle is surging from 1000-2500rpm.
Other things to note: Used the b16 throttle body which has a chassis mounted MAP which was fine before the ITR manifold so this seems fine. The TPS wire clip and MAP clip are correctly attached to thier respective sensors. The IAT sensor was reused from b16 manifold but the wire has some tension on it now, but seems intact.
Anyone have an suggestions/advice/answers for what this could be? Thanks

Edit: There were no problems before. All sensors, including Fast Idle and IAT were in fine working condition.

Default Re: Idle Surge After ITR manifold (yellowfever)

Me and a friend just put skunk manifolds on our motors(LS and GSR) I re-used the factory IM gasket it didn't look bad at all and everthing worked fine. My friend tried to peel and scrape off the old gasket and used a new one. Motor surged real bad when he turned it over. we had to take manifold off and use some silicone around the port holes to seal it. then it was fine. Try using incense or blowing cigarette smoke(if u smoke) around the IM while its turned on to see if it sucks it in. I think u can use carb cleaner too, to spray around the edges of the IM, I think if the idle increases then there is a leak.

Are you sure the TPS is set properly? this can cause idle problems.

The same throttle body as was originally used is on there, the TPS sensor was not touched.
