RJ DeVera's too skerd to drive his own RSX in Honda Challenge
So its official rumor
that RJ DeVera has hired a lumberjack to pilot his showcar RSX in Honda Challenge in 2004. By lumberjack I mean lacky (someone that does the work for someone else-
)
It was made official at the Hyperfest event at Fontana that RJ was going to be a moving road hazard in Honda Challenge hence his wise decision as a showcar pro to get "lumberjack" to drive the preproduction RSX in battle.
This is good news in the sense that Jeff Owen and I will be able to run against a factory designed RSX against our Frankenstein Integras we are currently building now. McDonnalds suspension vs. the everloved double wishbones. I cant wait.
By the way, yes I was sponsored by RJ at one point. Thank you RJ for your help, I am greatful. Much props to his former partners who did more of the help i seeked, one of which I can say Ive made a good friend for life. I still dont understand why RJ never asked me for help or advice in the road racing thing...he just decided to come out and make a fool outof himself at fontana instead. To each, his own. Showcar pride gets you nowhere in roadracing if you have no skill. It does get you a lumberjack however, someone Id rather race against anyday.
See you on the track ay!

RJ reminds me a lot of Adam Saruwatari. He makes himself out to be a lot larger than life than what he is.
Everyone knows that Adam cant drive for **** and his sportmanship is just as crappy
(sound familiar?). Thats what happens when you have a stick up your *** and think youre better than anyone else.
And just like Adam, RJ makes himself to be a very marketable person. Which anyone usually can when they talk to a bunch of hicks who dont know crap about the Import Scene and feed them a load of **** about how they know this and that and how they can do this and that. Notice I didnt say "Sport Compact". American Racing Wheel (Motegi, RoJA) Come on now.....no one on HT would buy those gay *** rims. Please "American" Racing Wheel never gave a **** about imports in the 1st place...until they started seeing sales drop cuz theyre truck rims stopped sellin...then they bit into RJ's ****. What else.....APC RoJA line.....APC and RoJA goes hand in hand if you ask me. Again, no one here on HT would buy that crap.
But the people who know, know and thats all that matters. And no Im not hatin cuz they have what I dont have...to be honest I would rather be better at the things that they try to be good at by honing my skills behind the scenes than tryin to just bust out all bling bling and make myself look like an ***. Thats what I think when I see RJ the "racer"........now when I think RJ the show guy....I think of Craig Leibermen. And if theres any of you out there on Craigs nuts, I feel sorry for you too. SBE...if u are who I think u are....u got skills along with Owen. Mad props and good luck in 2004!
