Cliff notes at bottom if your lazy I still need help

This morning I get awakenned after only 3 hours of sleep at 9am by my grandpa. He says he has a surprise for me and its my christmas present. Me thinking that hes taking me to get the hockey skates I asked for take my time getting ready.

When in the car I realizex we were across town from the skate shop and are in some town house complex. We drive around for a sec and he doesnt really know where hes going it looks like. Finally he slows down and parks his car infront of what??? Ya I wouldnt have dreamt in a thousand years, an 89 Crx Si.

My mind started racing going nuts thinking this old guy had boughten me a car. So I start to look at it and he satrts asking me if I like it. Finally reality kicks in and I realize I already have a 89 Si that need some serious rust work, dorrs, the whole nine yards but had just finished putting in a sohc zc. He says were coming back at 5pm tonight to go look at the car and buy it when the guy comes home. This car had very little rust and was mostly surface rust. But since Ive become good with body work it wont be a problem and I was saving for paint anyways since Ive already got a body kit/wing/hood for the other car that arent installed yet.

So its now 1:30 and Im jsut sitting around. I just spent 1200 on my first rex mostly because is came with spoon sw388 wheels and that fact that I was barely 17 and was stupid. So what the **** do I do with my first crx after I use it for a parts car? Can I insure it then burn the ****** and atleast get a few hundred or will that cause problems because I will be burning it as a shell???

Also with the engine, what can be done?? Isnt a mini-me a sohc zc block on the stock 89 si head? Clarify for me. So if I can do a mini me then Ill do it because they have high 120's hp. But if they dont mate would I just keep the stock engine and juice it til it blows then swap in my sohc zc?


Cliffs: Grandparents buy me new crx with minimal body work (mines a heap but I just put in a sohc zc) What should I do with the donor crx that Im using for parts?Burn it? Also can anything be mated with my sohc zc and the stock 89 si engine, mini-me? I just sent the money for a complete zex kit.... 65 shot will be used

Sounds like they found you something better. So to pop that zc in the new car and swap the d16 in the car that had the zc and sell it.

No chance of selling the other car. AHAH I should have thought of that but I stripped it prety descently and went *** nuts with a 10pound sludge on the remaining body panels with my sister and friends. Car looks like it was flipped about 80 times and hit from behind at 80+mph. Have all bumpers and hood, seats, lights, mirrors out to sell.

Just worried on what to do with the new car. If I can make something of a combo of the 2 engines or if I should juice the stock engine til the bitch blows then drop in the sohc zc, or do the swap now(dam that sucks, that wasnt fun)

 

umm your an idiot for ruining a good runing CRX.. i would have been happy to take it off your hands. As for you motor.. the mini me.. is any d block with a VTEC head on it.. from eirther a d16z6 or d16y8.. if you have a SOHC ZC running just levae it alone.. keep the d16a6 around for backup.. cuz you'll blow up a motor using nitrous..
you don't sound all that bright.. going around saying your insurance fraud idea. You should have kept the rex good and running sold it.. and got some money you'll make little to nothing off parts. The insurance is gonna know real quick the car was stripped before burned.. i'd pay someone to jack it.. then burn it.. that way it makes more since.. car got stolen.. they striped then burned it.. hehe

 

Dont be an idiot and burn it, its dooing **** like that that jacks all our insurance rates sky high.

Strip it as good as possible and junk the body.
