got a call from D last night, among other things that suck he thinks his hype R finally died with 120,000 miles on it. he got it towed back to his parent's place, but he has no toolz0rs and will need to get back to florida eventually...anyone in Pittsburgh area have a B series block lying around and some toolz0rs? Hit me up if you do and I'll get you in touch with him...not even sure he still needs the help, but as of 2am last night he did, told him i'd post something up on HT when i got to work.

 

If it was closer to NYC I'd help... But Pittsburgh is 7 hours far

what he told me standing in the rain last night at 1am with no shirt on (for different reasons than usual) was that the car had fuggin died, it was dark as hell, he had no toolz0rs, and the starter wasn't even turning the thing over. he was laughing pretty hard this whole time.

just talked to D. He paid a whopping 6.00 for a tow. Timing belt has no tension and he's waiting for some tools. He's good to go shortly and appreciates the mad support. He was still laughing about it.

heard the same when he called my ***....he was more pissed that he didnt blow it up more than anything

unfortunately, he's still unsure of the possible valvetrain damage
