Default Does this work?

Hey guys,

thanxs for the help on the wipers! i cant get my fuse box under the dash to open - any suggestions? do i have to untighten some screws to expose the fuses?

Does Rain X really work? that means in no matter what kind of rain i wont have to use my wipers and i can see perfectly clearly?

Thanxs:honda2:

Rain X does work really well. In a heavy rain you will still need to use your wipers probably. You will not have to turn them up as high as you normally do though.

Peace*

Its just a wax, seals the pores of the glass, in essence making ti slipperier. You can do the same with car wax on the windows....not as great for visibility tho.

Rainx is good, but also crap.....driving at night with it, using your wipers in heavy rain and you cant see fuckall cause it leaves a residue of water which, when you pass under a street light, blinds you for a second.

Not great on highways.

Cool stuff tho.

I really don't like rain-x. I would rather have functional wipers. In my experience, putting rain-x on makes wipers wear faster.

And my 88 rex just has some clips. No screws.

i thought this thread was about the fuse box?? well to answer ur question...under the dash below ur steering wheel is the fuse box cover...there are little tabs, one on the right and one on the left....push the left tab to the left, the right tab to the right, and pull down.....simple as that

rainx is great on my side windows and rear window. i use it on the front also but im not gonna re apply when it wears out. my underhood fuse box has two tabs that you have to push in to open it. no need to unscrew anything

RainX works good for me, I bought some of their anti-fog stuff too but haven't used it cause people said it is worse though.

RainX and RainX-antifog does work. When you apply, you need to have a clean surface to apply to. Then you need to rub it in till it's dry, otherwise it won't work. Don't apply more than 2 coats. Stuff usually lasts about a month before it starts fading, however, blades do tend to wear faster because of the compound eating away on the rubber. You can tell it works if applied properly, try breathing on the glass after applying.
