Was there a CTR made in the years of 96'-98'? I've been told that there isn't one because the the EK4 (96'-98') is the SiR model and the EK9 (99'-00') is the CTR model. If this is so, then why do some companies sell or say that they have 96'-98' CTR headlights. I am currently looking for a new set of headlights and I'm stuck with this issue. If there is an CTR headlight set I'll buy that if not, then I'll settle with the SiR headlights. Thank you everyone for your help and expert advice.

 

Yes. Ek9 applies to all 97-00 3 door B16B Type-R's.

I think there was because I've seen CTR climate controls for the 96-98.

EK4 - B16A JDM All 3-door/4-door
EK9 - B16B JDM All 3-door Type-R

EK9 refers to all 97-00 Type-R's.

 

No, the EK4 is the SiR with a sunroof and a b16a. The EK9 has no sunroof and a b16b.
