Need help with stalling 98 Accord
I have a 98 Accord EX 4 cylinder auto, with just under 59k miles.
I just recently changed the air filter and spark plugs as part of a tune up. I have now noticed that the car will start easily, but will stall out unless i apply some throttle, at which point it revs and is fine from that point onwards. The car does not stall anyother time. There is no loss in power or fuel economy, and the car is smooth as usual.
What is the reason for the stalling? I replaced the plugs with NGK Coppers that i double checked the part numbers on. They went in fine without any threading issues.
I appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Neel

You car is covered by the IGNITION SWITCH RECALL which might be causing the problem. call your local honda dealership ASAP to verify using your VIN # on your car.
