For Fuel Pump Cut Off Switch
Went to Radioshack to grba a switch and got 2 for free because my friend works there. I dont know which one I am using or hwy there are 3 prongs.
First heres info on the 2 switches:
(exactly as on package)

1.Illuminated Auto Rocker Switch
Part#275-712
12 VDC/VCC 30A

2.Automotive Rocker Switch
Part# 275-731
25A to 12VDC

Now which one would be best? I dont know anything about those codes.
Also they both have 3 prongs on bottom, I thought there would just 2, for both incoming wires, is the last for a ground?
Why would I need a ground? How exactly would I ground such a small *** wire?

Either of the switches should work, so pick the one you like best. The guide below has the switches listed and the way they're connected. The two you listed are SPST. The third prong is most likely used to illumination the switch.

Look up the datasheet for each or request it from the manufacturer. Use the one with the highest MTBF
