Ok my '90 CRX DX beater, with A/T got smacked. What do I do with it now?
It needs a new hood, bumper cover and beam, pass. fender and door.
I have all of these body parts laying around, so that's not a big deal.
But the windshield is cracked and the pass. side front bulkhead around the headlight is bent pretty bad and so is the front of the pass. side wheel house. Not the whole wheelhouse, but the front part is bent up pretty good.
I don't know squat about doing body work, and my guess is the structural work is 1k-2k easy. What do I do with it now?
Any ideas? Anyone? I don't want to junk it. But is it worth fixing? Would anyone WANT to rebuild this?

I just spent 6 months rebuilding a civic I shouldnt have.
DONT DO IT...its not worth it....I ******* regret everything from it, aside from the knowledge I gained.
It was supposed to be maybe 1000$ worth of parts and 2 weeks tops of work.
Ent up beeing 2400$ and coutning in parts, total of at least 4 weeks of fulltime work on it and now the block burns oil...so I cant even drive it cause it wont pass smog.
DONT DO IT....find another one and use this one for parts.
Get one in good shape...not worth fixing em

lets see some pics of the damage... from the way you explained it it might not be to bad, did you take off the hood fenders and bumper yet, that would let us see the damage better....
if you can put on the fender, hood, bumber, and door.. then take the car to a body shop and have them put in on a frame machine.. they will literaly stretch it back to factory specs.. it shouldn't cost you more then 400 bucks for just that!..

4inspeed: No digi camera and I'm too much an idiot to figure out how to post them, anyway.
I don't think the frame is bent. But the headlight frame bulkhead and the front of wheel-house definatly need replacement. I can see that the wheel-house is made up of several panels welded together. Cut and weld, replace. That's the expensive part. The hood, fender, panel replacement I could do by myself.
Any body guys have an idea on the cost of cutting and replace a couple of
welded panels? I should just bring it to a local body shop, for an estimate huh?
