215 across(give or take a little on each) on a motor with a compression of about 11.3:1.

What kind of cams are you running if I may ask, cause bigger cams have an effect on compression.

I just recently did 210 across on a stock compression b18c1.

However, don't compression testers read differently. Most important thing is that the numbers are consistent across all 4 cylinders.

keep in mind that a stock motor has probly been used alot and carbon build up will result in higher numbers....

as long as there all kinda even ...they seem ok

i didnt do the test. they are numbers of a motor im looking at buying. even though they are even(a good thing), they seem quite low for that kind of compression.

On stock cams? It's not at 11.3:1 CR. 210 is typical for stock CR depending where you live and miles on your motor.

You can't really compare numbers as every gauge will read slightly differnet from the next. The main thing to check is the consistency of the numbers and to make sure they do not vary more then 20psi across the board. Various things, as mentioned above, can effect the compression reading on the engine also such as cams and carbon build up. Verify if the cams are stock or not and take this into consideration. Also, was the test done with the engine cold or up to operating temperature? It should be done with the engine at normal operating temperature. Did they do the test with the throttle plate fully open? It must be open or the results are not accurate.
