Default NEED HELP!!! please look: removing wax

hey guys, i need some help, i waxed my car, and i used one of those machine rotational waxers that swirls around and around. now when those things go, it goes pretty fast so i kinda lost control of it and it got wax into the plastic parts of my car like the window pillars, my door handles(non painted), and the rain gutters on top of my car. now i cant get it out! like i even tried to scratch it out with my finger nails and it wouldnt come out, my car is black so it looks pretty bad. any suggestions guys? please guys i need the help.

Green sticks. You'll find them in the womens make-up department at your local drug store or make-up counters. They are cheap and wood does not scratch.

You can use a knife blade to trim the edge to get in tight spots like the top rails.

Place behind the cotton towel or diaper moistened with a cleaner product, like Mothers, move back and forth until the wax is removed.

You fingernails will scratch. Don't do that any more.

After you've done the major work. Carry your little green stick around with you. Hit the spots a little at a time, sone enough you will have it all out.

Next time, tape off or stick to hand rubbing! Machine polishing, you have to follow up with hand rub anyway.

armor all removes it i get it on the plastic trim all the time. i just use a good amount to remove the resudue. if they wax stuck on the sides and stuff i would use a very very soft tooth brush to brush off the wax off. go slow so you dont scratch the paint because you have a black car.

Armor All blows wads. It is a oil based solvent at best. CRAP PRODUCT. I can think of fifteen other products on the shelf I could use before I would stoop to their snakesoil.

I'm telling you, Mothers products are easy on easy off. Never wax more than one panel at a time. Black cars ALWAYS wax front to back, NEVER in a swirling motion. You'll thank me.

And what are you talking about!!?? Using a toothbrush? Hahaaha. You obviously haven't detailed many cars, especially of any worth that you would use a TOOTHBRUSH ON!

If anything, a good wash will loosen any residuals that might be left over. Use luke warm water to loosen the wax with a HORSE HAIR BRUSH, once dry go over the car with the baby's towel and the green stick pressed into the grooves on the trim. Around the door opener you have to use a widdled piece of the stick to get between the seams.

Toothbrush.

i waxed cars for 3 years i tried many things so i would know.....
ever get wax on plastic panels like the bottom moldings? try armor takes it right off. sometimes you get wax around the door handles troothbrush dose wounders taking the wax off. i ask detailers they said thats a good idea easy to take off wax. of course you can really rub hard with the brush you will scratch the paint. if you dont want to scratch the paint when you waxing use a cotton pad not the foam pads.
my uncle uses his fingers to apply wax because he can feel the dirt with his fingers so its less chance of scratching the car. he is very **** about his cars paint
i dont really see why there was any rason to attack me i gess you were just bored and felt like it oh well have fun

My experience spans over 20 years of collector and exotic cars. From early Alfa Romeo's to race Porsche's to Ferrari's, Honda's, Mercedes and the like.

It's all good.

Hey I just looked at your screen name, hayabusa160. Do you have a GSX-1300R Hayabusa?
