i agree, but your comparing 2 different cars. RSX-S costs 6,000 more than a spec-v. I had a spec and my boy had a RSX, RSX was alot nicer insider, more comfortable ride, both were equally as fast, spec handled a little better, but doesnt have the aftermarket support as the RSX and has weaker internals. If you have the money get an RSX. RSX isnt THAT much of a better car however.

I dont think they are equally as fast. I dont think i've heard of any Spec V's dippin into the 14s stock. My friend had a Spec V before it met with a telephone pole. I wasn't all that thrilled with the looks of the Spec. But your right it definately doesnt have as much aftermarket support as the RSX does. Seems they're havin trouble creating products for the Spec.

they arent equally as fast, my friend had an 02 aztec red spec v and he took me off the line and it evened off at 50 and then i owned him after that.
He hated it because of the crappy build quality and problems so he traded it in and bought a tsx 6 speed. He loves the tsx.
fyi their resale values stink, he only got 12000 for a 9 month old spec with 12k on it.

theyre within a tenth or 2. my friend runs 14.5 with I/H/E. I know RSX-S is SUPPOSED to run 15.0 stock but im yet to see that. im sure its been done. i think both cars are worth their price, like i said if ya got the price get the RSX.
build quality on mine was no acura but it wasnt bad at all,

i agree with build quality, but they perform better than before, and the spec-v handles REALLY well. i would go as far to say it outhandles an RSX. not as fast tho, or nearly as nice inside. but handling yes.

my brother just bought a 2004 sentra specV 6 speed and lsd tranny for 17000 dollars brand new. compared to my 326 hp gsr turbo hatch. i think the SER is really nice. i hav driven the rsx s and the sentra spec v. although ivtec is realy nice and honda motors are buuilt really well. the sentra has uch more torque then the rsx does 180 ft/lb compared to RSX (i dont know what it is but i know its considerably lower lol) both are great cars but for the SER being a 4 door sports sedan and being considerably heavier than the rsx s i think the SER lays the smack down pretty well for what it is. its like comparing apples and oranges. they are both in different leagues.
oh and who says they dont have much aftermarket support. trus hondas will alwasy rule in after market support, but u cant beat the fact that nissan dealerships are authorized NISMO dealers now as well. any NISMO part for the SER can be bought and installed at the dealer with warranty. thats pretty slick.
i know honda/acura has comptech and spoon in some places. but the argument could go on forever. there are going to be biased opinions all the time.
since there this is a RSX forum theres bound to people that are gonna type:
RSX> specV what do u expect its a biased forum.
im sure over in sentra forums they say SPECV> RSX

they both weigh 2700lbs. and if that guy couldnt beat a SOHC vtec CX he needs to learn to drive. I see morons running 16's in those cars, when me and my roomayte both ran 15.1-15.3 stock. dont wanna get a flame war, i just think people underestimate that car waaaay too much.
