Is there any difference on the Del Sol Power steering (B16) and the EG Power steering (d16Z6)???????

Since no One answered I believe that the Del Sol B16 Rack is a quick ration rack and the same as a GSR's. Where the D series rack are a slower ratio.

 

Yes If my memory is correct the GSR and Del Sol VTEC Rack are the same and they are a faster ratio than the Civic EX Del Sol SI

 

i also have a question about steering...when i am sitting still i can wiggle my steering wheel back and forth and it is making like a knocking sound...it is coming from my box...i have also done this to three other civic's and they were all 99-00 civic si. they all did it is there somthing to worry about or what?93hb si

 

YES.
Although it depends on the model.
The VTEC Sols have a rotary power rack and pinion steering setup, although the rest are all the same as the civics.

The actual rack ratios are a little different. I have #'s off the top of my head, but I'm not sure they are right, so I will wait until I see my helms manual before posting. Although I currently am not in possesion of my manual, so it could be a day or 2.

Ratios are
VTEC~
Civic/ S, SI Sol~

 

DOHC VTEC ratios~16.0
S and Si ratios~ 17.5
Manual all civics/del sol~19.0

4 way valve syatem is S, Si.
Rotary valve type is VTEC.
