azenis no good for rain
kuhmos no good for grip, ok at best
visa's are decent, i'd rather run visas than kuhmos
512s are no good for grip either.
yokohama es100's for dry and wet
potenza so3's are great too, but sort of pricey

my azenis are fine in the rain. you just have to slow down, which you should do anyway regardless of your tires wet traction. i honestly have no problems whatsoever getting around in the wet. they're not good in standing water, but most other tires i've had expereience with aren't either. don't even think about using them in the snow. and when it's dry, good lord do they stick.

AVS ES 100's
the azenis are gone very soon...so no need to get a tire that won't be avaible shortly
and the AVS grip just as good...last 10x's longer and are jst as cheap....and not to metion you can drive in the rain/snow...which should be an important factor for your area this winter
