Default immoblier on ITR??

my freind and I have a debate over this.

HE said- no ITR had an immoblier
I said - some ITR's did have an immoblier i 4got what years tho

who is rite?

i had to have the immobilizer removed from the ITR ecu i was using in my 99 Si. i have some pics of which chip it is, but i won't post those up.

but yes, there is an immobilizer on the 00-01 ecu's

I voted No immoblier because ITR's don't have immobliers they have imobiliZers


*edit* without my imobilizer i would not own an ITR. Someone tried to hot wire my car in my driveway not knowing 00 and up ITRs have imobilizers. When i went to get in my car in the morning the ignition was ripped apart. The dealership said if the imobilizer wasnt there my car would be gone. This was the first week i bought the car.

97-99 dont have them, 00-01 do come with it !! but if you change to mugen or hondata i dont think it will stay there !
