I have an annoying noise coming fom my frontend that sounds like a rubber bushing gone bad. It only occurs when the outside temp drops below 45 degrees. Could this be an upper control arm bushing that I am hearing? Any help would be appreciated.

try spraying some litiuim grease on the bushing and see if that helps

 

If it's the same noise I'm thinking of... a small squeek-like noise when you go over bumps. Then it probably is yes. I've got the same problem but it's not a big worry.

Your right its not a big worry and its pretty much as you described. I'm just tired of listening to it.

Shocks are new so I have eliminated that source. Thanks for the help

 

Try white lithium grease on the upped and lower balljoint and also the swaybar bushings.

 

if its more of a knocking and you can feel it through the floor then its most likely a balljoint.

 

I have noticed that shocks make more noise when there are cold too. You shocks may be worn out.

 

Mine dose it too when its really cold....
