Coilover rates for GC?
I plan on ordering some Ground Control sleeves, and was wondering if I should change the spring rates( order custom ones) or just use the GC 'accord' specs. I plan on using some AGX/Illumina's(haven't decided yet.) Main purpose of car is daily commute.
Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

i think you can just go ahead and call eibach and custom order one, I am not sure they would charge differently or not.
maybe from a authorized dealer perhaps?

I know I can order custom rates, my question is..What is the best rate for a daily driven 95 accord. Or should I just stick with Eibach's accord standard rate?
they have done a lot of testing for each car on what is a properly suited spring rate for a daily driven street car that goes to the track occasionally....though, when i had GC's on my old car, i thought they were a little soft to be honest...i would order some in the 500 lb area if i were you...take your car's weight bias into consideration as well....since we have front heavy plowing cars, it might be in your best interest to make the rears a little more aggressive so that you don't understeer as much...anyways, that' just my .02...enjoy
well going into the 500+ range may require a re-valve on the Koni Yellows for my 6th gen (that's what GC told me).
The best thing for you to do is pick up the phone and call GC up. They'll answer all your questions, and tell you what the off-the-shelf spring rate for your 5th gen is...
In my case, the stock 6th gen spring rates are roughly 210F/190R, and the off-the-shelf GCs are 450F/300R, and the spring rate I want is 450F/400R. I would prefer to get 400F/400R, but GC feels as though they will bottom out in the front, and the Eibach sways will get me the oversteer I want...
