I have a 91 accord but i dont like the after market tail lights available.
Is there any chance that the trunk lid from a 92 or 93 will fit a 91 ??????
i know the outer tail lights from a 92-93 will fit a 91, but i need the lid from a 92-93 to get the lights i want. any info ?????

 

A 92-93 lid will fit a 90-91 accord they're the exact same size. u will lose the ability to use the trunk key thought. Oh yeah make sure you get the 4dr trunk lid

 

will the lock from my old lid fit the new one & have you done the swap?

 

you should be able to use the lock from your old trunk in the new one.

I have a friend that did the swap. Kinda extreme swap just for some different lights, though.

 

I want to get the all candy red tail lights but they dont make them for 90-91, just for 92-93.
Thats why the swap is needed.

Just shave your inners on the stock lid and call it a day..

SHAVING THE INNERS IS NOT WHAT I WANT

 

The 92-93 trunk will work without problem, and if I'm not mistaken the lock will swap over.

 

You could always get clear ones and tint them red I know they make a spray tint in red (nothing like DIY) or they have the ones that I purchased, red on bottom and clear on top.....way better over stock IMO.
