THat's b/c the flat black ones aren't available in 5 lugs, these will be getting powdercoated flat black soon. and yes, 40 mm offset.
xjohnx - where will you have them powdercoated and how much? I know LIP suggested a place called Powtek in southern NJ I think for all 4 wheels - $200 and I just wanted to compare pricing. Considering VA isn't TOO far away....

A friend of mine got two of them today-Stupid UPS, sent them to the wrong county. Anyway, what Lugs are you guys using? The stock type-r lug doesn't seem to have the correct taper
Thanks
Thanks
I look at them and they look really fake. I personally prefer something real, not copy version of any other kind. It's like I don't want to spend the money, but I will buy a cheaper version to fool people.

hmm it's not just the weight...it's also the strength, and the originality.
But what more can I say...they are dirt cheap...and you are right not many ppl can afford to buy the real deals.
I can appreciate their effort for making a cheap and light wheel...but please make it look different...it just pisses me (also a lot of ppl) off...I mean who's going to design new wheels if companies like Rota out there keep copying them.
anyway,

anyway,
im a bit sick of all the flakes who ask me if I have real Spoons
of course they are dammit
I even have 2 sets
street and race set
sure they look nice but I for one do not like clones
and i know they wont handle a curb hit at 125 mph into the busstop chicanes at the Glen
I am not flaming however just stating an opinion
which i am entitled

uhmm.. I've SEEN rota's (c8's) hit burms at 110-120mph, bounce off them and land. I've seen people slide sideways into a curb at 35 mph. I've NEVER seen a rota break. I've seen them get bent, but I'll just buy another for 100 bucks then. before you talk your ****, at least have some experience with the company on hand.
