Default Pics Of My Buddy's Mazda (56K? I dunno, try it.

Not an RX7 but rather an MX-3. It's not a bad car and pretty quick running 14.6s in the 1/4mile. I've also got some vids of it that I'll post tomorrow.

Engine looks stock huh? It's not the stock V6.

Everyone has that one ricer friend

Got Rice? He does, lol

Specs on it are.
93 Mazda MX-3 GS V6 in Clear White.

Exterior:
Ugly Winter Rims
G Force Rear Bumper (He has the front, needs some sides but it looks ok imo)
All Red Tails

Interior:
White painted parts (he hates it know so it should change in the future)
Fuzzy Dice
Reverse Indiglo Gauges
Lotek Bullet Dash Mount Gauge Pod
Reverse Indiglo Air/Fuel and Voltmeter

Engine:
KLDE 2.5L V6 from the Mazda MX-6/Ford Probe (rated at 164hp/160ft-lbs)
Custom CAI (piece of my old Civic's intake, some 3" abs piping and 3" hose clamps all topped off with an Apex'i Filter)
Carsound 2.5" Cat
Custom 2.5" Resonator-less Catback with Magnaflow muffler (sounds really sweet)
B&M Short Shifter

Suspension:
Intrax Springs (Going to be replaced)
Everything else is stock.

With just the CAI and catback he ran a 14.6 which is pretty good imo. However the car has MAJOR Traction issues (crappy tires, wheel hop, custom traction bar might come into play).

The future for it: Paint cause the stock stuff looks like ***, finishing the body kit, change it to something else or ditching it, some rims (16"), cf hood (coming soon most likely), redo the suspension and a possible turbo set up (need to find a way to put it together).

All opinions/flames are welcome

Isn't there a motor for it in Japan the KLZE something that has about 190 or so HP?? Those cars are nice cars. I actuallly like the MX6 a bit too.

I don't think anyone expected him to make that good of a run, even him. Watch out for MX3's

I see that car at Tim Hortons in Woodbridge all the time. It looks really hacked up especially with only the rear bumper that hangs like 8 inches lower than the rest of the car.
Nice swap tho, (done by Lucky Star?)

Whatever, way to represent the T Dot but a bad specimen for the cars we rock up here.

I won't admit the car needs work. It should all be in a more proper order by theend of this year. Also he would be nuts to put the body kit front bumper on in the winter, even though we have no snow..lol
The swap was done by his mechanic with some little solved by A-Spec.

There's some better cars ya, but this one is orginal and not in storage.

Just wondering couldn't that car fit the turbo probe engine and go on the dark side?

The turbo Probe engine was in the old Probes, 91 and older if I remeber right. Also it was a 4cyl.

I thought the stock MX-3 V6 was a 1.8L rated at 170hp or so. So he put in a bigger V6 w/ less horsepower?

Nope, the stock 1.8L V6 has 130hp/115lbs-ft. So the swap =
