just wondering if i were to have a performance valve job done and clean the area behind the valve seats (type R port work) without opening/reshaping up the ports how much less horsepower should be expected? assuming this is a stock b16 head. i guess this is considered a street port or mild port work.

I just sent my head out to Alaniz to get some head work done. Pretty expensive... I sure hope it's worth it.

When I get it back and dyno tuned, I'll let you know.

I'm getting the Street Master package. I won't know exactly how much it will cost until they're finished. You can check it out here: http://www.alaniztechnologies.....html

I recently paid a little over a $1000 to have p&p work done on my head,(pr3). I am planning to get it tuned by ARfab, or Inline Pro in the next month or so, i plan to post a before and after graph when completed.
