Default My EG, recovered, and rebuilt!

First off I just wanna say Honda-tech is awesome and it killed so much time for me out in the Middle East when I got deployed to Kuwait/Iraq hehe. If it wasn't for HT out there I think I wouldve lost my mind. Anyways back in July 2k3, my car got stolen from my parent's place in the bay area (parent's were holding the car for me while I was deployed). I didn't return until September 11, 2003. My car was found by the California Highway Patrol dumped on Hwy 101 completely stripped except for the engine. I had purchased a stock pile of parts and was waiting until I got back to the states to put them on, but after I heard of what happend when my parents emailed me, I was totally pissed.

Pretty much all the money I made out in the middle east, went back into repairs for my car (only because I have Liability Ins ). A blown engine, cracked radiator, body damage, you name it. About $7,000 was put back into repairs. The B16A1 was stripped and rebuilt, a new radiator was placed in, the front right axel was repaired w/ a new boot and tie rod, interior parts were replaced because they broke off my steering column and rear view mirror, and a bunch of other goodies were placed in. Ive decided not to put in another stereo system in my car though, due to this being the second time my car has been broken into (plus they took my panels). I was planning to sell this car because it seemed to be such a liability, but Ive had a change of heart. Future plans are still in the works. Anyways heres the pics of after the rebuild.

The only engine shot I have, yes thats a POS Aerospeed CAI that I took off hehe.

And myself and I'm sure many others would like to say thank you for being over there and taking care of business like our armed forces can.

Car looks good too.

CooL!
the paint looks graet!
is it captiva blu pearl?

i'd say lose the rear bumper lip though,
would look nicer and u might be able to lift up the exhaust? maybe that'l help keep it from scrapin or something, i dunno.

lookin nice tho!
