quick Q about guage clusters

Default quick Q about guage clusters

98 ek civic

i have a manual car and the cluster has no tach ( wtf? lol i'm still scratching my head on this one)

i found one for sale with a tach but its from an automatic, will i have any problems wiring it??

Depending on model some EKs didnt come with a tach(even manual transmission) It would still function but I think it would still have the coloumn that shows the "Park reverse neutral" and so on

No wiring problems but just get a 5 speed one so you dont have that gay gear selector bar.

if you are talking about "EK" civic as in hatchback,..then it will not have a tach because no 6th gen hatchbacks came with a stock tach ,...only SI and EX 2 dr coupes came with tachs,...along with LX sedans,...and yes the automatic cluster will go in,..but you will just have the gay gear selector strip

funny.... my friend has a 99 hatch cx... and he has a tach.... hmmm???

it was probably optional from the dealer.
