Help what out?? Help you get to full throttle on your mostly stock z6 quicker. There are much better ways to spend the money on a mostly stock z6.

Bump.
I'm interested also, what are the dimensions of the H22's TB vs. the D16's?
Are there any problems with adjusting the Throttle with the different TB's?
or anything else im not thinking of at the moment.
Just wondering b/c i might be able to score a H22 Tb for free.

Well please enlighten me because I'm tired of being slower than ****. I have intake and exhaust right now. Would a header and hi-flow cat help much?

Nope. Either tear it open, up the compression and port the head or go FI. Those IMHO are the only two ways to make a D series fast (and I drive a boosted y7).

yes, get basic bolt-ons like that before you bother with a huge TB.

yeah yeah theres better ways but I think I'll answer anyway:
I could be wrong as far as exact numbers go but I'm pretty sure the h22 tb is 62mm, compared to 58 mm for the d series (I THINK someone correct me if I'm wrong)....you'll need to port match the inlet on your intake manifold if you're going to get anything out of a bigger tb. Its more of a throttle response mod.
H22 intake piping that meets the h22 tb is usually 3"...IMO thats too big for a d-series anyway...

well i have an 3" intake already and it should fit on the skunk2 correct wouldn't i see some gains it is much larger, and i plan on building the d n/a for a while then going to turbo to get the most out of it so i would like the extra flow et cetera
