Anyone running Toda A with stock internals?
Is it worth it paying all that money? Or is it better buyin Toda B;s, but then you have to get valve springs and retainers rite?? Toda B's are a lot more powerful am I correct? Someone told me the Toda A's cams can produce 230whp... i dont know bout that one?
230whp with TODA A's? wow.. never seen that before. and especially not on stock internals
thats even hard with TODA B's
btw: i thought you sold TODA parts, shouldn't you know the answer to these more than most of us

if your compression is lower than 12:1 then toda A is good.
if its 12 or over then jun3 or toda c are better bets.
230whp on toda a? i doubt it.
I built a mild 11.5:1 motor that made much more midrange power with toda A
than with JUN type3, but type 3 made more peak from 7500-8500.

For some, not for others.

Great dyno graphs! I need to venture down for some tuning myself come spring.

I enjoy having cams allmotor. I've have spec b's in one itr, and spec a's in another. I also have spec c's that will replace the aforementioned spec b's in that motor. The spec a's will actually get b00sted on in '04!

But honestly, they're great. No reliability or idle issues. No worry about upgrading the valvetrain/ tbelt, etc. And they can make 200whp with ctr pistons. Totally reliable. Daily driver cam, imho.

i really enjoyed the spec b's. lots of low end grunt. i ran them for 20k plus miles on stock valve train and timing belt without a problem. stock rev limiter. if you plan on reving past 8500 upgrade the springs and retainers.
