Default timing d16 w/ d15 harness

hi all, just want to make sure i did this right, yes i searched w/ no luck.... well i have a 89 crx d16 that i put in my 89 civic dx hatch, and i have to set the timing.... well to do that you have to jump the connector either underdash or under hood, and well the si has the connector inside the cabin while the dx has it in the engine compartment..... so since i don't have the one in the cabin do i just use the one in the engine compartment or did i need to modify the wires at my ecu to jumper the connection..... just thought i'd ask because i'm sure others are wondering too.

Just jump it where ever you find it. It ends up in the same spot on the ECU.
