i'm building a LS/VTEC with these components.. i want to know what will the revving abilities be...

HEAD, Ti retaniers dual springs (ran with my b16 @ 9100 rpm all summer long)
Crower Stage 2A (stock Low lobes, stage 2 vtec lobes)
68mm TB, skunk 2 intake, short ram air

Block:

B18A1
GSR Crank
GSR Stock Rods
PR3-Stock Pistons (11.6:1 CR) .030" off the head..
B16 Oil pump
B16 Water Pump
All Stock Botls
Lightened Crank
9.6 lbs flywheel
6oz crank pulley
Balanced bottem end...


the rest:

MSD 6200 Ignition, wires, cap...
4-1 JUN style headers 2.5 collector
2.5" straight
chipped ECU (custom for setup) like hondata...
Quaife LSD

Also your WHP predictions...

 

Not sure about the HP, but with stock rods and bolts, we're talking in terms of reliability here, I'd say 7500 max, and thas occassionally.

The stock rod bolts are the weakest part of the set up, change em out much safer.

 

what does a stock gsr and stock type r red line at?
