Default CRX's with Hasport billets, and victorX manifold...(Question for ya)...

How much room is there between the IM and the firewall?

Thanks!

should be more than stock gsr or type r, my friends, has plenty of enough clearance to get the ecu harness off while leaving the manifold on.

Hrmmm ok.

The reason I'm asking, is that I'm trying to get Ron's sheetmetal manifold (which is about 11" from the head) and I'm not sure if it will clear.

Now I just need to know how long the JG manifold is.

Victor X is about 8.5" long from the head back to the firewall

Hrrmmm ok.

Soooooo...If there is more than about 3" of clearance with JG manifold and a CRX engine bay...I think I'm good to go.

OH....are you guy's including the EACV in the measurement?

I'm not sure how deep the JG is in comparison to my HP sheetmetal, but from pics, they look similar, and I have tons of room in my new car that I used the billet HAsport kit in. Here are a couple pics:

Everyone with the Billet mounts, say they have more than enough room

Ron,

I've been talking with Jared about his HP racing manifold, and I deduced that they're will be roughly 2" of clearance between the IACV and the firewall.

However, I'm starting to worry that the TPS sensor will sit even further back.

I'll PM ya...

Can you supply me with any pics?

From what your saying, it just doesn't make sense compared to everyone else's statements (not saying your wrong).

- Do you have like 4-5" of clearance between the manifold and the firewall?
- How much farther does your TPS sensor sit, compared to the IACV?

Thanks
Bryson

On a friends car (b16 in a 91 DX Hatch with JG Manifold & Billet HASport mounts), the TPS sits right on the fuel line into the filter. Had to do some custom white trash spec ghettoraci on that bitch to make some room for the TPS. Could be why the other guy is breaking the TPS all of the time.

werd!

Thanks a lot guys. From all the info that I've got, it seems like Ron's mani will fit with 1-2" of clearance(from the IACV)...which is just about perfect.

however, the best way to see if it fits is to mount it in the car...
