I've been trying to find nice, well-lit place to take pictures of my car, but I so far I've only had bad luck with security guards and the cops. Anyone know of any good spots to snap a few pics of my car? Empty parking garages and parking lots around Rancho Bernardo would be preferrable, but anywhere in SD would be cool too. I've tried a few empty business places around my area but the same 'ol sheriff keeps pulling me over . Thanks in advance.

PS - Any photography tips would be helpful, as I'm only a beginner.

It was back in March 2000. Where rice was at its prime. I dont have any pics of the article on this comp, but here's some of the car.....

Nope, sold it a long time ago, then went to a 91MR2 and 86 corolla GTS. Now I have an SC300.

I remember doing another photoshoot on the end of a dead end road right by Black Mountain Middle School in PQ. Its on top of a hill and the its a dirty road. The dirt gave the car a pretty cool "off-road" look. Kinda hard to explain. I wish I had pics but my PC crashed a long time ago. It was an ad for B+G suspension, you might find it in one of the older super streets. Maybe someone with the mag could do a favor for the guy and scan the article???

 

Was it near hilltop park? Did you have to go up a REALLY steep hill? If so, then its probably the one because there's a dirt parking lot up there. I'll probably try that out some day since I always go down to PQ. Thanks.

 

Yup, that park wasnt even there yet when i had the shoot.

As for the back of MMHS, the shoot was in front of the bungalo's. It came out looking like it was a prison in the background cuz they were so torn up.

The places where the fire was looks like a nice spot. Up near northside Id hit up those business parks in Scripps and near the Sony building in RB.

I still have that issue. I also have plenty of old issues with your car in the B+G add. I'll dig them up and scan them. I also remember your car on the cover of the ZEX catalog. The one they gave out at SEMA a few years ago.
