Default what size slicks??

im looking into buying my first set of slicks.i have an h22a with an h23a1 trranny in a 94 civic, DSS level 2 axles, and in the process of putting a direct port nitrous kit in with an 80 shot.

im pulling 2.0 60 fts right now all motor on 17s with 40 series tires....and i want more...
i am looking at 22x8x13 or 24x8x13.
i just am not sure what would be better? what are teh benefits of each?

Because of the H22 torque and the 80 shot, I'd go with the 24" slick. I'd also switch to an H22 trans because of the better gearing.

i ahve an other h22a tranny that is apart and needs a new 3rd and 5th...i am deliberating having it rebuilt with a richmond/prodrive spool. but that is not somethign i can afford in the immediate future...but something id like.

judging by my 1/4 mile speeds and ET i am estimating about 150 ft/lbs (175 hp as well, similar to the other stock h22a i dynoed last year) and am looking for another 105-115 on spray with a total at appr 260 ft/lbs.

Is this a street driven car? If so, I would skip the spool and get a Quaife. I tried running a spool on the street. It sucks, first hand. I have a quaife now. And btw, I forgot to mention, whatever slick size you decide on, make sure you get M&Hs. John

well i am going to try to keep the car street legal as long as possible since it may be middle of next year til i can afford a trailer. i was figuring if i had to drive it ont eh street after the spool id make sure and put some narrow crappy tires on it hehe
anyway it will be a bit before i need to seriously consider the diff situation sicne i need to buy the gears first.
thanks for the input.
