How do you figure it's better?
whats your compression?
If i had to guess i'd say about 160-170whp

oh it's easy, just go look it up at carpoint.com my stock compression should be at 9.2 which is lower then B18C or B16A. i could boost at 15 max on the Greddy kit but i would have to get new rods, since honda stock rods can only take up to 200hp b4 it break or pass 7500rpm wich ever one come first. plus i would have to get injector fuel pump pressure R. and a afc2 and some kind of logger so i know when to add in more fuel. DSM have it it's call a palm pilot. i wonder why honda don't have one.??

I thought you meant lower then stock compression. I believe the d16 have a cp of 9.5:1 and the d15 is 9.2:1

IMO 9.5:1 - 10.2:1 is perfect for a street car, although when i boosted my d15b7 (dx) it was very forgiving....i beat it and all it did was love me back...(9.2:1)

no not really, i believe the honda acura high performance say it should be at a compression of 8.8 to be a healthy turbo car. most turbo cars are at a compression 8.8.

I believe the d16z has a 9.2 compression and the d16y has a 9.6. The difference being the change in combustion chamber shape )

only cars that have 8.8-1 stock are accords and the B20 as i believe, but thats not to say that you can boost motors other than them.

As for you power numbers, we have no facking clue at all, could be less than stock or more depending on your tune. And you want an IC so you dont get crazy *** detonation from all that heat

lower compression and bigger liter. if i have a choice. i would go with a accord. big liter and low compression. that's the only way if you want to boost alot.

yeah that would be a really fun car i am running 9.5:1 in my turbo car posibly higher due to the mods that will be done to the head. prolloy somwhere around 10.2. The lower compression the less ***** 8.8 in a honda motor would be gobs of fun (i know the B20B was a dog)

Also you Hp should be around 140-160 somwhere around there. Torque from 95-115 maybe more i don't know get the damn thing dynoed and don't get pissed when someone tells you something that is correct!
