code 6 anyone??

code 6 anyone??
The new ecu is throwing a code 6
but heres the strange thing it only throws it if I use reverse..
If I reset the ecu and go right from first I get no codes but as soon as I put it in reverse I get code 6??? any ideas..
code 6 is engine tempurature sensor I think?
oh yea its a b16a witha pr3 ecu
