idle
my idle is cool when i first start the car....it sliek at 900 then as the motor gets warmer the idle goes high then it stays at 2k ..what is sup with that!!.need help..i got a first gen b16 with a second gen intake manifold with a STR TB... do u think its the cold start doin it....i plugged a hose! that hose that goes from the thermostat housin to the TB i plugged that ..is that suppost to be goin into something!!!is it suppost to go into the iavc!! is that the cause on why the idle goes up as it gets warm.let me know whats sup..need info on the lines on the iacv!!..
Check your ECU. That will tell you the codes then find out what the codes mean. It also might be injector problems or faulty O2 sensor problems. That is the case on my CRX, but I have a stock DX engine.

ok how do the lines on the iacv supposrt to be hooked up....this is how its hooked up right now....coolant lines from the thermostat housing then i bypass that line to the left inlet on the iacv ..i think its supposrt to go on the TB then to the iacv, but since i have a STR TB it aint got a cold start..so then i jess ran it straight to the iacv then the right inlet of the iacv is hooked up to the block to where the coolant runs on the lower radiator hose..!!is that the right way...
